Who runs this site

chaunceyscott.com is operated by Chauncey Scott, a photographer based in Austin, Texas. Any questions about this policy or your data can go to chauncey@chaunceyscott.com.

What this site collects

Almost nothing. There are no contact forms that store your input, no newsletter signups, no cookies set by this site, and no analytics scripts running in the background.

The only data automatically generated is standard server log information — your IP address, browser type, the page you requested, and a timestamp. This is collected by the hosting provider (Vercel) for normal operation, security, and abuse prevention. I do not access these logs for marketing.

When you email me

The “Book Me” page uses a standard mailto: link that opens your own email client. Your message goes directly from your email provider to mine — this website is not involved in sending, storing, or processing it. Once I receive your email, I keep it as long as needed to respond and maintain a record of the conversation, then delete it when no longer useful.

Third parties

The site relies on:

• Vercel — hosts the site and processes server logs. Vercel privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — fonts are loaded at build time and self-hosted, so Google does not see your visit.

No data is sold, rented, or shared with advertisers.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA / CPRA), you have the right to ask what personal information I hold about you, request a copy, ask for corrections, or request deletion. Because this site collects almost nothing, the only data I'm likely to hold is email correspondence you initiated. Email me at the address above to make a request and I'll respond within 30 days.
